Comparison
PitchWhip vs Apollo
Run both. Apollo is where the list lives. PitchWhip adds the fit verdict and its evidence, an opener and likely objections beside the LinkedIn profile you open. Optional live call mode suggests responses while you talk. What follows is the honest sum, with Apollo’s own help centre quoted where it counts.
Same profile. Two tools.

Say this first
“Dana, this is a cold call. You can hang up. I noticed you have had three SDR roles open since the Series B. Usually when a team scales that fast, ramp is what quietly breaks. Worth sixty seconds?”
She will probably say
“We already use Gong for this.”
Answer · Most RevOps teams your size do. Gong tells you what happened on the call. We are upstream of that, in the first ten seconds before there is a call worth recording.

Where they are better
The whole stack under one seat at a self-serve price: database, sequencing, dialler, recording and enrichment. They are cheaper per number than anything we sell, and their free tier is usable rather than a teaser. Their dialler page does sell per-prospect scripts, so nobody should tell you Apollo stops at data.
Try it before you believe it
Apollo’s free tier is real, and so is ours: five scripts a day, your first direct dial on us and four more with your email, no card. Install it, open a lead you already have, and put the brief next to whatever Apollo’s AI Research writes for the same record.
Here is the gap in money rather than ratios. At fifty numbers a month the seat is $49 against Apollo Basic’s $65 month to month, $16 under. At a hundred and fifty it is $49 plus the 100-pack at $50, so $99 against $65: $34 a rep a month. The $34 buys what Apollo's script leaves out: the fit verdict for the person on the page, and the objection with its answer. If $34 a rep is the whole decision, keep Apollo and buy us alongside it.
Dial time is the other line. Apollo’s dialler draws on the same credits you build lists with, at 2 credits a minute on their pricing page, so an hour on the phone is fifteen reveals gone. Nothing in our panel costs a credit except a find.
Cheaper per credit is not cheaper per conversation
A $0.21 credit prices a number that arrives, not a number that works, and Apollo publishes no route back when it is dead. So the sum that decides it is the price divided by the share that reach the right person. Nobody in this market publishes that share, and that includes us. The one published figure is Cognism’s, from a study on their own data: 18% of mobiles reached the right person before a human had dialled them, and 45% after. That is their number about their data, and we are not applying it to anybody else. Finish the division at whatever rate you believe. Against our 50c pack rate, a 21c credit costs the same per working number at about two in five, and more below that.
Run both?
Yes. Apollo keeps the lists, the database and the sequences; the panel takes the call, and nothing needs exporting between them.
Test it on a profile your current tool already gave you a number for.
