PitchWhip

AI assistants

Use PitchWhip from Claude or ChatGPT.

Connect your assistant to your PitchWhip account and ask it about your calls, follow-ups, account maps and revealed contacts. PitchWhip drafts call scripts and openers, and you can add notes, follow-ups and do-not-contact entries without leaving the chat. It uses your existing PitchWhip sign-in; there is nothing new to install.

Server address: https://mcp.pitchwhip.com/mcp

Connect Claude

  1. In claude.ai (web or desktop), open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector, name it PitchWhip and paste https://mcp.pitchwhip.com/mcp. Leave the advanced OAuth fields empty.
  3. Choose Connect. Sign in to PitchWhip as usual, check what the assistant is asking for, and choose Allow.
  4. In a chat, switch PitchWhip on from the tools menu.

On a Team or Enterprise plan your Claude admin may need to add the connector for the organisation first. Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http pitchwhip https://mcp.pitchwhip.com/mcp, then run /mcp to sign in.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins and choose Add.
  2. Choose Add custom MCP server, name it PitchWhip, paste https://mcp.pitchwhip.com/mcp and pick OAuth for authentication.
  3. PitchWhip’s sign-in page opens: sign in, check the permissions, then choose Allow.
  4. Turn PitchWhip on for the chat you want to use it in.

Custom servers depend on your ChatGPT plan, and on a workspace plan your admin may need to allow them.

Who can use it

Every paid PitchWhip plan and every seat on a paid team. A seat signs in as itself and sees what it sees on the dashboard; an admin sees nothing through the assistant that the dashboard doesn’t already show them.

A live trial can read and draft, without contact details, reveals, changes or exports. When a trial ends or a licence lapses, the assistant stops working until the account is active again.

What you allow

When you connect, the sign-in page lets you choose:

  • Read your PitchWhip data (always on): the read tools below.
  • Make changes: drafts, notes, follow-ups, map additions, do-not-contact and CRM sends.
  • Spend credits on reveals: phone and email look-ups, which always show the cost and wait for your yes.

There are no delete tools and no calling. Deleting and dialling stay in PitchWhip itself.

Contact details

Paid accounts see the phones and emails they have already revealed, including in lists, up to 60 people an hour and 300 a day per seat through an assistant. Above that the details are withheld until the limit resets; the dashboard is unaffected.

Everything PitchWhip applies on the dashboard applies here: people who asked PitchWhip to remove their details through the removal form stay removed, and your team’s do-not-call and do-not-contact lists are honoured. Marking someone do-not-contact from chat blocks your team only; other PitchWhip customers aren’t affected, and you can lift it on the dashboard.

Where your data goes

What the assistant reads from PitchWhip, including any contact details you open, is sent to the assistant’s provider (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT) under your own agreement with them. You choose to connect it, and you can disconnect at any time.

Consumer AI plans may use chats to improve their models unless you opt out; business plans (Claude Team or Enterprise, ChatGPT Business or Enterprise) don’t. Use a business plan if you will open contact details in chat.

PitchWhip keeps a record of which tool was used, when, and whether it worked. It does not log what you asked or what came back, and your PitchWhip licence key never reaches the assistant.

Disconnect

In PitchWhip, open Integrations → Connected assistants and choose Disconnect. It stops working straight away, whatever the assistant still holds. You can also remove the connector in the assistant’s own settings.

Removing a seat from your team, or a licence lapsing, also ends its access.

Things to try

  • “What's due today in PitchWhip?”
  • “Draft a cold-call opener for the Operations Director at Northwind Widgets Ltd.”
  • “Show me the people I revealed this week and their titles.”
  • “Add a note to my last call with Priya: asked for a demo next month.”

The assistant can’t read LinkedIn pages or place calls; for those, use the PitchWhip extension.
