Remove my details

Updated 26 September 2026

Tell us the email address or phone number you want removed. You do not need an account and you do not need to tell us why.

We'll send a link to this address. Your request takes effect when you click it: that's how we know the address is yours.

No account, no charge, and we won’t ask why. Once your request goes through, we keep only one-way fingerprints of the address or number, not the address or number itself. We use them to keep honouring your request and to tell the organisations we can find that hold it, and for nothing else.

What happens when your request goes through. PitchWhip won’t give the email address or phone number to anyone who doesn’t already have it. Where our records show who it belongs to, we also stop looking up that person’s other contact details. If you remove an email address, PitchWhip’s customers can’t email it through PitchWhip.

What it can’t do. We supply business contact details to companies whose sales teams use our tool. Some organisations already had your details before your request, because they looked them up, called you, or hold them in their own records. They are separate organisations, responsible for their own use of them. We’ll tell the ones we can find through PitchWhip about your request, and you can ask us which ones they are. To stop one of them contacting you, ask them directly.

Where we got your details. Business contact details come to us from a contact data provider that gathers them from public and commercial sources. If you want to know exactly which provider your details came from, ask us and we will tell you. That is your right under Article 14, and we do not treat the provider’s name as confidential when the person asking is the person concerned.

What we keep. Until your request goes through, we hold the address or number you gave us, and use it only to deal with your request. Once it goes through, we keep one-way fingerprints of it, not the address or number itself. They let us recognise it and keep honouring your request, instead of passing it on again next month, and find the organisations we tell about your request. They are the least we can keep, and we use them for nothing else.

How long it takes. An email request takes effect when you click the link we send. A phone request is reviewed by a person, and we deal with it within one month at the most.
