Calling

Call from your browser, with your pitch beside you.

Click a revealed number, press Call and talk through your headset. The script stays on screen, the outcome is one press, and the callback comes back when it is due.

What you actually get

The real screens.

A call in progress from the panel, with the timer, mute, keypad and hang-up controls
Call from the panel with your script on screen.
The outcome buttons for logging a call: No answer, Left voicemail, Booked meeting, Follow up later and more
Log the outcome when you hang up.
The call history: 122 calls in 30 days with a 50% connect rate, each call's outcome, sequence step, length and callback
Every call in your dashboard: outcome, length, callback and sequence step.

Real PitchWhip screens. The people, companies, numbers and emails in them are invented.

Who it is for

Is Calling for you?

  • Reps who call the people they find on LinkedIn and want the pitch in front of them while they talk.
  • Teams who want one shared pool of minutes and a PitchWhip number for each person.
  • Account admins who want to listen back and coach from the real conversation, with recording they control.
What you can do

What comes with Calling.

  • Call from the panel

Click a revealed number in the panel and choose Call. The call runs in your browser over the internet: your headset or laptop microphone is the phone.

  • Ring a number you already have

Open More in the panel, choose Dial a number, pick the country and press Call. No reveal is needed; the call uses your minutes.

  • Log it in one press

When the call ends, How did it go? asks for the outcome: no answer, voicemail, booked meeting, follow up later and more. The call is saved to your history.

  • Callbacks that come back

Pick Follow up later, choose when, add a line on why, and the callback returns in Who's next when it is due.

  • A number for each person

Once your account has monthly minutes, each active team member can choose one available PitchWhip number at no extra rental charge.

  • Recording you control

Recording is off until your account admin turns it on. The admin chooses automatic or manual recording and how long recordings are kept: 90 days by default.

Calling is not a replacement phone. PitchWhip calls run over the internet. If your power or internet fails, or your browser is closed, you cannot call 999 or 112 from PitchWhip, so keep another phone to hand. 999 calls work only from a PitchWhip number with a registered address, and the control room sees that address, so update it in Settings when you work somewhere else.

The conditions

What to know before you add it.

  • Calling needs an eligible paid account, and your account admin accepts the calling notice once in Settings.
  • Calling minutes are separate from your subscription and reveals. Only connected time uses minutes; ringing, busy lines and unanswered calls do not.
  • Joining mid-month? You pay for the days left and get minutes for them.
  • Yearly licence? Monthly minutes are billed monthly on the same day as your plan.
  • Running low? Move up to a bigger monthly allowance at any time: you pay the difference for the rest of the month and the extra minutes arrive straight away.
  • UK mobiles count double; other countries count by what they cost (a German mobile minute uses 3).
  • All 27 EU countries, mobiles included.
  • Minutes bought as one-off packs before monthly minutes started still never expire.
  • US and Canada calling is open to every calling account. US numbers need a company check, and some US states are not available.
  • Numbers depend on an active licence, an active team seat and live minutes. Business checks and country availability apply.
  • Only supported destinations can be called. Country restrictions, daily limits and a maximum call length apply. Connected incoming and forwarded calls can also use minutes.
  • Make sure the people on the call receive any notice or consent the law requires for recording.
  • Prices in US dollars, before VAT or sales tax. Tax is added at checkout where due.
How to add it

Three steps, all in your dashboard.

  1. 1

    Accept the calling notice

Your account admin accepts the calling notice once in Settings, Calling, and chooses whether calls are recorded.

  2. 2

    Choose monthly minutes

Choose monthly minutes in Dashboard, Billing.

  3. 3

    Choose your number

Pick a PitchWhip number for your seat in Settings, Phone numbers, or use a caller ID you have verified.
