Refer a friend: programme terms

Effective 17 October 2026

These terms explain how PitchWhip's refer a friend programme works.

1. Who can refer

You can refer if you have a PitchWhip account on a work email address: a verified free account, or a paid plan that is active. Accounts on personal email addresses, team trials and lapsed plans cannot earn rewards.

2. Who counts as a qualifying friend

A friend qualifies when all of these are true:

  • they are new to PitchWhip;
  • they sign up on the PitchWhip website through your link or with your referral code typed into the sign-up form (signing up inside the Chrome extension does not carry your link or code), with a work email, at a different company from you;
  • they verify that email address; and
  • they write their first script.

Personal email addresses, addresses at your own company, repeat sign-ups and self-referrals do not count.

Reveal credits are given once per friend’s company. Once a friend at a company has qualified, through your link or anyone else’s, no later sign-up from that company earns reveal credits.

3. Rewards

You get 10 reveal credits for each qualifying friend, added to your account automatically. We call each reveal credit a reveal in the product: one credit is one phone number or one email found.

At most 5 friends are rewarded in a calendar month, measured in UTC, for everyone who refers from the same company together. Friends over that limit are not rewarded, and they do not carry over to the next month.

When a friend you referred becomes a paying customer, you get a free month. The free month needs their first payment to last 14 days: if it is refunded or cancelled before then, no free month is given. At most 1 free month is given in a calendar month for everyone who refers from the same company together.

If you pay for PitchWhip, the free month is applied to your subscription. If you are on a free account, it is a 30-day trial of the paid plan; if we can’t set that up, we hold the month and apply it when you subscribe.

4. What your friend gets

A friend who signs up through your link or code, verifies a work email at a different company from you, and is not refused under these terms (for example as a self-referral, a repeat sign-up or a sign-up from your own company) gets 10 free reveal credits on their new free account, once. It is given once per person, whatever link or code they use, and it does not count towards your monthly limit. These free reveals are limited: only a set number are given each day, each month and to each company, so a friend may get none (for example where another sign-up from the same internet connection got them recently). A friend who gets none still gets the free account. We may withhold or withdraw them where we find abuse.

5. Credits have no cash value

Reveal credits and free months have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money or anything else.

6. Abuse

We may refuse, withhold or withdraw a reward, including a friend’s free reveals, where we find abuse of the programme. We may block accounts that we find are fake.

7. Changes and ending the programme

We can change or end the programme at any time. Rewards already given stay on your account.

8. These terms and our Terms

These terms sit alongside our main Terms. How we use data to run the programme is in our Privacy Policy.
